This page has a variety of information resources that students can have access to from school or home. Some of the websites are password protected so students will need to get passwords from the librarian.

myOn is a collection of over 5,000 ebooks for Pre K - 8th grade.  There is a

wonderful selection of both non fiction and fiction materials.

TumbleBookLibrary is an online collection of animated,
talking picture books which teach young children the joys of reading in a format they'll love.
This database requires a username and password.

Storyline Online

Includes a number of picture book that are on-line video/audio streamed being read by famous people.  Each story includes activity and lesson ideas!

No password needed!

Provides educational videos in many topics to include science, health, writing, reading, social studies and math. Audio prompts, printables, online activities, quizzes, homework help and learning games.
This database requires a username and password.
My Image File  Britannica is similar to PebbleGo but gives a bit more information and covers more topics. Similar to PebbleGo there is a button to have the passage read aloud, pictures, short videos, and to cite the source.  There is also a "Teacher" button that connects articles to state standards.  Topics include: atlas, biographies, animal kingdom, tour the USA, geography explorer, and compare countries.

Click on Pebble Go Animals to learn about a variety of animals. This database includes easy to read text for K-3 learners with spoken-word audio, text highlighting, pictures and video clips.

PebbleGo Next teachers students about States and American Indian studies.  PebbleGo Next is carefully aligned to curriculum objectives. The databases is simple to navigate and offer key reading supports such as read-along audio and word-by-word highlighting along with a variety of downloadable, including prompts to inspire critical thinking.

This animal database is for K-3 learners and allows students to use a visual search to learn about an animal they are interested in. Each animal has an easy to read article with spoken-word audio option for the struggling reader. Pictures and video clips are also included.

This website features information about many different kinds of animals. It includes facts, photographs, video and audio clips, maps of where the animal can be found, and printable pictures.
Animal Planet online lets you explore information and facts about different kinds of wild animals. Interesting articles and photographs are included to help students learn about each animal.
An informative database that provides instructional resources and information on authors, illustrators, book awards and book lists. The site can also be searched by subject area, genre and grade.
